One Fund campaigns

A One Fund campaign is for churches that raise campaign money through one designated fund, often their general fund. Instead of a separate campaign gift, donors commit to their usual giving plus an additional amount. GivFlow totals both so you can see the full commitment.

Choose One Fund

  1. When you create a campaign, set Campaign type to One Fund campaign. See Create a pledge campaign.
  2. For an existing campaign, open Campaigns, open the campaign, click Settings, and change Campaign type to One Fund campaign.
  3. Click Save settings.

What donors see

The pledge form asks two questions:

  • What I/we would normally give in a month (regular giving, building fund, special offering, etc.)?
  • What are you committing in addition to what you typically give?

If Pledge entry is set to Total pledge amount, the questions ask about a year instead of a month.

Donors fill in both amounts. They can enter 0 for one of them, but at least one must be more than 0. A summary shows the combined amount, the number of months, any stored gift, anything already given, and the Total campaign pledge.

How the total is figured

GivFlow adds the usual and additional amounts and multiplies by the months left in the commitment. It then adds any stored gift and anything the donor already gave to the campaign. That total is the pledge you see on Pledges.

If the form offers a recurring gift afterward, the suggested amount is the combined monthly amount. Stored gifts are not included.

See Collect pledges for how to share the form, and Campaign settings and the public form for the other form options.
