Use the budgets dashboard

Dashboards → Budgets is home after you sign in. It shows how one selected budget is doing this period, how that compares, and what is happening in the giving base.

This is not the Budgets list lower in the sidebar, and it is not a budget's analysis rail.

Open the dashboard

1. Sign in. Home is Dashboards → Budgets. If you are elsewhere, expand Dashboards in the left sidebar and click Budgets.
2. Confirm the budget chip at the top — that is the budget you are viewing.
3. + Add New Budget sits next to the chip when you need another budget.

Set the period and read the chart

1. Set the period at the top right (for example This Month).
2. Read the chart: Selected Period (Cumulative) (Dollars) vs the comparison line.
3. Click Full analysis → (above the compare column) when you need the deeper budget report.

Compare and Giving Health

1. In COMPARE TO, toggle Prev Period or Last Year. The panel shows This period, the comparison amount with a growth or decline indicator, Unique Donors, and Add Budget Amounts →.
2. Scroll to Giving Health. You will see active donor units as of the as-of date, the period vs the comparison window, a GIVING HEALTH badge, and a one-line read.

Donor-status tiles

The tiles are New, Second, Active, Recovered, Lapsed, Inactive, and Occasional, plus Estimated Recurring. Status tiles include View →. This dashboard shows counts and period change.
