Update DNS Records (GoDaddy)

How to Add a DNS Record in GoDaddy

Follow these steps to add a DNS record to your GoDaddy-registered domain.

Step 1: Log in to GoDaddy

Go to GoDaddy.com and log in to your account.

Step 2: Access DNS Settings

Once logged in, follow these steps:

  • Click on your profile name (top-right corner) and select My Products.
  • Scroll down to find your domain and click DNS next to it.

Step 3: Add a New DNS Record

In the DNS Management section, find the "Records" list and click Add to create a new record (Get values and record details from GivFlow).

Enter the required details:

  • Type: Select the appropriate record type (e.g., TXT for DKIM).
  • Name: Enter the hostname (e.g., default._domainkey).
  • Value: Enter the value provided by your email provider (e.g., DKIM public key).
  • TTL: Set this to "1 Hour" or use the default value.

Click Save to apply the changes.

Note: If you're updating an existing record, it may take time for changes to reflect. If you encounter issues, double-check the values entered and retry.
