Update DNS Records (GoDaddy)
How to Add a DNS Record in GoDaddy
Follow these steps to add a DNS record to your GoDaddy-registered domain.
Step 1: Log in to GoDaddy
Go to GoDaddy.com and log in to your account.
Step 2: Access DNS Settings
Once logged in, follow these steps:
- Click on your profile name (top-right corner) and select My Products.
- Scroll down to find your domain and click DNS next to it.
Step 3: Add a New DNS Record
In the DNS Management section, find the "Records" list and click Add to create a new record (Get values and record details from GivFlow).
Enter the required details:
- Type: Select the appropriate record type (e.g.,
TXT
for DKIM). - Name: Enter the hostname (e.g.,
default._domainkey
). - Value: Enter the value provided by your email provider (e.g., DKIM public key).
- TTL: Set this to "1 Hour" or use the default value.
Click Save to apply the changes.
Note: If you're updating an existing record, it may take time for changes to reflect. If you encounter issues, double-check the values entered and retry.
