Add DNS records at Namecheap

Copy Type, Name/Host, and Value from GivFlow View DNS (or the email GivFlow sent). Do not invent records.

Before you start

• You already have the GivFlow records.
• Host Records work only if nameservers are Namecheap BasicDNS, PremiumDNS, or FreeDNS. Check Domain List → Manage → Nameservers. If nameservers are third-party or Web Hosting DNS, add the records at that DNS provider or in cPanel — not here.

Add the records

1. Sign in and open Domain List.
2. Click Manage next to the domain.
3. Open the Advanced DNS tab.
4. Under Host Records, click Add New Record.
5. Set Type to match GivFlow. For a TXT, DKIM, SPF, or DMARC-style value, Namecheap still uses TXT Record. For a CNAME, use CNAME Record.
6. Enter Host and Value. Host is the prefix only — Namecheap appends the domain. Use @   for the root. If GivFlow shows a host that includes your domain, enter only the prefix.
7. Leave TTL as Automatic (about 30 minutes) unless you have a reason to change it.
8. Click Save All Changes. New records normally take about 30 minutes.

Note: Do not create a CNAME at @   (the naked domain). Namecheap warns that can break MX and email.

Return to GivFlow and click Check DNS.
