Add DNS records at Cloudflare
Copy Type, Name/Host, and Value from GivFlow View DNS (or the email GivFlow sent). Do not invent records.
Before you start
- You already have the GivFlow records.
- You manage this zone in the Cloudflare dashboard. If the domain was added through a hosting partner, Cloudflare says to manage DNS at that partner.
Add the records
- In the Cloudflare dashboard, go to the DNS Records page.
- Select Add record.
- Choose a record Type that matches GivFlow.
- Fill Name and the value field. For TXT, that field is Content. For CNAME, the dashboard uses Target (some Cloudflare tables also say Content). Name is the prefix, or
@for the zone apex. - Set TTL to Auto unless you have a reason to change it.
- Select Save. Repeat for each GivFlow row.
If you save TXT content without quotes, Cloudflare automatically adds double quotes. Paste GivFlow Value as shown — do not wrap it in extra quotes.
Note: Cloudflare’s docs say to set email and domain-verification records to DNS-only (grey cloud). TXT records are already DNS-only. If GivFlow View DNS lists a CNAME, turn the proxy off (grey cloud). This is not a setting inside GivFlow. See Cloudflare’s Proxy status and Use cases.

Return to GivFlow and click Check DNS.
