Convert active donors to recurring

What this flow is for

Convert Active Non-Recurring Donor to Recurring Donor emails donors marked active who do not have a recurring gift. Those donors are at higher risk to lapse. Asking them to give recurring can make giving more consistent and helps you forecast the budget. Recurring donors also donate anywhere from 30%-60% more dollars throughout the year!

It does not change how giving works in Planning Center. Recurring still starts there if the donor chooses to.

This flow is set up per budget. Language can differ per budget. A general budget may need different wording than a pledge campaign.

What you'll see

On Flows, click the Journey tab and pick the budget at the top. This flow's card says Starts when a donor becomes Active and has no recurring gift.

If the card shows Not set up, click + Set up flow to open Subscribe to Convert Active Non-Recurring Donor to Recurring Donor. Fill Sender, From Email, and Reply Email, then Select Budget. See Subscribe a flow.

Once it is set up for that budget, the card shows Running or Paused and how many donors are in progress and completed. Click the card to open Overview, Activity, and Edit Steps.
