What are flows?

Branded email sequences

Flows (the app also calls them automations) put donor communication on auto-pilot. Each flow is a branded, domain-authenticated email sequence that runs when giving data says it is time — for example a failed recurring gift.

They send from your church's verified domain. Connect that domain under Settings → Email. See Branding and sender signatures.

The Email area in the sidebar is not a composer yet. Sending still happens in Flows. See Email overview.

The Flows list

Flows in the sidebar opens /automations   (page title Automations). At the top right, toggle Subscribed | All. Subscribed is what you already have. All is the catalog.

A subscribed flow can show a Paused badge even if the card also lists an Enabled on date. Paused means it is not emailing anyone.

Failed Recurring Donations Recovery (ACH and Debit Cards) may appear on Subscribed as Paused. Leave a paused flow paused until you have reviewed its emails.
