New donors

What this flow is for

New Donors reaches out to new donors in the budget you select, and tracks whether that communication leads to a second gift. You can customize the action link.

A new donor to the general budget should get a different message than someone who gave to a pledge campaign budget. Subscribe once per budget you want this sequence to cover.

It does not change how giving works in Planning Center.

What you'll see

On Flows, click the Journey tab and pick the budget at the top. This flow's card says Starts when a donor gives to this budget for the first time.

If the card shows Not set up, click + Set up flow to open Subscribe to New Donors. Fill Sender, From Email, and Reply Email, then Select Budget. See Subscribe a flow.

Once it is set up for that budget, the card shows Running or Paused and how many donors are in progress and completed. Click the card to open Overview, Activity, and Edit Steps.
