What this flow is for
Failed Recurring Donations Recovery (Credit Cards Only) emails a donor when a credit card recurring gift fails, so they can update the payment method.
Credit card failures are a different situation from ACH and debit. ACH and debit failures are almost always insufficient funds, so that flow's emails need to be more sensitive — that is why Failed Recurring Donations Recovery (ACH and Debit Cards) is a separate template.
It does not change how giving works in Planning Center. It is follow-up email with a clear ask: update the payment method.
What you'll see
On All (/automations ), the card shows Available. It does not show Uses Budgets — one instance per organization.
Open the card for the subscribe modal (Subscribe to Failed Recurring Donations Recovery (Credit Cards Only).). Choose Sender, From Email, and Reply Email. There is no Select Budget. See Subscribe a flow.
