Connect Planning Center

GivFlow is built for churches that use Planning Center Giving and People. The connection lives under Settings → Organization. That is where you confirm whether Planning Center is in sync, set your Church Center subdomain, and switch organizations.

Before you start

You can sign in to GivFlow.
Your church uses Planning Center Giving and People.
If you see Connection Disrupted!, an org Admin should complete the repair.

Open Organization settings

Sign in to GivFlow.
In the left sidebar, click Settings.
Stay on the Organization tab (Organization information).

Check the connection

On this page you will see:

A yellow Connection Disrupted! banner when the Planning Center connection is no longer valid. It asks the org Admin to update it.
Planning Center Status — Disconnected means GivFlow is not syncing with Planning Center. Organization Status is separate: that is whether the organization is active in GivFlow.
Your organization name.

If the banner is showing, an org Admin should use the update link on that banner.

Add your Church Center subdomain

Automations need your Planning Center / Church Center subdomain.

Find the subdomain field. It looks like your-subdomain.churchcenter.com .
Enter your church's subdomain.
Click Update Domain.

Customize the GivFlow tab

Customize Tab Settings is not a GivFlow panel. It opens Planning Center People customize in a new tab:

Use that Planning Center page to control who can see the GivFlow tab on a person. It will not repair a Disconnected status.

Switch organizations

If you belong to more than one organization, click Switch on this page and choose the church you want to work in.

You can also set Time Zone here. If organization information looks wrong, email support@givflow.com.
